Dear All Saints and St Marys The Lord be with you I hope that this finds you well and in good heart. As restrictions lift and we enter a time of personal responsibility I have been reading and then writing guidance around what might be the recommendations that could be most fruitful at this time. There seem to be 2 aspects to this, one is the practical detail and the other are the values that underpin our relationships and responses to each other. In that I have been drawn to the biblical values of the fruits of the spirits that are talked about in the New Testament letter of St Paul to the church in Galatia – (or Galatians as it is called). They are joy, peace, love, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, patience and kindness. I reflected on how they are more than words, they are ways of being, things that we practice with each other and with ourselves. How kind have you been to others this week? How gentle have you been to yourself? It has been with these in mind that I have attached here the recommendations for how we might
be together, in our worship and practice when at church. I encourage you to read them.
Our worship this week is as follows Sunday 25th July: Eighth Sunday after Trinity 8am Holy Communion at All Saints - with Revd Janey and Mark Simms LLM . You can join us online here: Live Stream 10am Holy Communion at St Mary’s - with Revd Lizzie and Mark Simms LLM.
